This is a question web developers get asked all the time, and it's a good one. We know you have a budget. We know there's only so much money you're willing to spend. However, business owners usually don't like the answer, which is that there's not a set price.

A fellow web designer once told me his response: "How long is a string?" Think about it... is it 4 inches, 4 feet, or 4 yards? While each is a string, the similarity ends there. Pricing a website is a lot like that. The number of pages and the amount of copywriting, search engine optimization (SEO) work, graphics, and so on will determine the final price.

If you press me to give you an answer, I'm going to say it will cost between $3,000 – $7,000 to develop a website that will meet your needs. Pricing will vary based on the size of the website (number of pages) and specific features you want. This is the price range we charge most of our clients, and the average price for a website in Louisville.

Experience Matters

If you think spending a few thousand dollars is too much for a website, we want you to understand what goes into developing it. Yes, you could pay your neighbor's son in Pokémon GO gift cards to build you a website, but you will get what you pay for. An experienced digital team is worth every penny spent. They know the necessary steps and procedures to put a website together from start to finish. And, they have the expertise to do it efficiently.
